The First Year of the Consumer Investigations under the DMCCA: looking back and forward
This session will follow on from last year’s CLA consumer law event which looked forward to the initiation of the CMA’s first consumer law investigations under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (DMCCA). This event will reflect on the trajectory of those initial investigations, as well as reflecting upon the outcome of the Emma Sleep investigation conducted under the earlier procedural rules. The speakers will consider the new requirements for subscription contracts and other recent developments, before looking ahead to the consultation on reference pricing and what else may be coming up in the next 12 months.
