Welcome to the website of
The Competition Law Association.
We are the British Group of the International League of Competition Law (Ligue Internationale du Droit de la Concurrence – LIDC). We promote the study and discussion of legal developments and commercial practices affecting each of competition law, intellectual property law and their interface, both nationally and internationally.
In a fast developing field, we bring together knowledge and perspective from experienced practitioners, analysing competition law and intellectual property in an environment disrupted by greater reliance on data.
CLA Events
The CLA run a series of lunch time and evening meetings, principally in London, with distinguished speakers in the fields of competition law and intellectual property law. Recent topics can be found under ‘past events’.
We have also run a series of free webinars with the other 18 national group members of the LIDC, which cover the interpretation and application of competition law and intellectual property law in the UK and other jurisdictions.
